The Data & AI Security Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the Data and AI Delivery Unit at BT. By utilizing innovative AI and Machine Learning techniques, you will contribute to making data-driven decisions and increasing revenue across various environments, including on-prem and Google Cloud Platform. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe handling and protection of data at every stage of the process. This role involves promoting security strategies, Security by Design, security transformation, vulnerability management, and incident management. As a Data and AI Security Specialist, you will be expected to understand the relationship between data and AI with business processes and systems. Implementing a vulnerability management strategy, maintaining security posture, and leading efforts to reduce vulnerabilities are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will oversee security tool rollouts, drive security transformation initiatives, monitor cyber threats, prioritize penetration testing, and identify automation opportunities within the security space. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong skills in stakeholder management, security experience, customer experience enhancement, problem-solving, and automation. Additionally, you are expected to have expertise in IT security policies, controls, remediations, technical solutions, security tooling, and cloud environments. Holding certifications like CISSP or equivalent, as well as Cloud Security Certification, is preferred. Job Description: As Alarm Phone Operations Engineer you will work to manage the cloud and on-prem infrastructure supporting the E2E Alarm phone connectivity. Identify use cases for proactive monitoring and other measures for Service stability. Work closely with Ops Manager for Service Improvement actions, such as service status reporting, and continuous development of agile and DevOps way of working. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation and experience with Cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities • Cloud (Azure / AWS) & know how of On-prem Infrastructure Monitor and analyze cloud & On-prem resource usage patterns, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and resource allocation Maintain and fix CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates (Gitlab / Jenkins) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements Operational Support Support the Global and Local business units in complex and often cross-technology troubleshooting, on-site and remotely Hands on technical troubleshooting, proven experience in working with tickets incident, problem, change & request enduring to meet SLA and KPIs • Provide L2 and Preliminary L3 support for cloud-related incidents and problems, resolving issues on-time to minimize downtime • Hands on working on ticketing tools (SNOW, Jira) Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other teams to resolved incidents and respond to stakeholders Education & Experience- University degree in Information technology, engineering or equivalent Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in supporting distributed solutions Experience and knowledge working in a Lean & Agile team Technical skills & Expectations Cloud certified (Azure / AWS) Knowledge of On prem & cloud infrastructure / network connectivity Know / how of different types of integrations Rest API, Mulesoft, Kafka, Python / PowerShell scripting knowledge (nice to have)
