Description The Principal 1 Clinical Integration Lead will be responsible for driving clinical integration initiatives within the organization to enhance patient care and streamline clinical processes. This role requires a strong background in clinical practices, data analysis, and project management. Responsibilities Lead clinical integration initiatives across various departments and teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement clinical integration strategies. Analyze clinical data to identify trends and improve healthcare delivery processes. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff on clinical integration practices. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical integration programs and make recommendations for improvement. Skills and Qualifications 6-9 years of experience in clinical integration or a related field. Strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical workflows. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in clinical settings.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Project management and testing of EDI-related initiatives, including lab result interfaces, imaging report interfaces, clinical document interfaces, patient demographic interfaces; Communicating with labs, hospitals, IT vendors, pharmacies and athena stakeholders to convey interface status and timelines; Managing a high volume of projects and tasks with competing priorities; Researching and incorporating trading partner technical, functional and QA requirements to EDI projects Developing a comprehensive understanding of athenahealth's healthcare transactions and how relationships between teams and their workflows influence complex problem solving Identifying operational inefficiencies and process breakdowns; contributing to the design of solutions to address the same Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop novel solutions to operations problems Extracting, synthesizing, and analyzing data. Diagnosing, analyzing and resolving issues related to electronic data interchange including but not limited to live lab, imaging, demographic and clinical document interfaces and electronic prescription routing Other duties as assigned by the Interface Operations Manager necessary to help optimize and expand EDI operations. Supporting the training and mentoring of new hires. Analyzes thoroughly and proposes effective solutions for interface projects and problems. Troubleshoots and resolves technical challenges and problems and escalates if necessary. Proposes solutions when problems or issues arise in a project or incident. Serves as a subject matter expert and assists the team with their questions. Should act as the go-to person for all process related issues. Requirements: Graduate in engineering, science, or commerce stream Fluency and comfort with both spoken and written English Willingness to work for any shift including night shift Strong communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with members of geographically disparate teams in India and the US Excellent customer service skills and professionalism to effectively manage communication with external parties including US lab and imaging vendors Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated experience identifying and addressing workflow inefficiencies and breakdowns Talent for managing problems through entire lifecycle from identification through resolution Ability to operate independently to execute goals, seeking assistance when needed Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Mastery of MS Office and the ability and desire to advance one's technical skill set Personal and professional drive to succeed Passion for both teaching and learning skills among colleagues.
