As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients" infrastructures are secure, robust, and continuously operational. Your responsibilities will involve proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents, conducting necessary checks, and utilizing monitoring tools to maintain optimal performance. It will be your duty to ensure that all assigned infrastructure at client sites is appropriately configured, installed, tested, and operational right from the beginning. You will be actively involved in investigating third-line support calls to identify the root causes of incidents and problems. Daily interactions with clients will be essential as you provide continuous feedback and keep them informed about the status of their systems. Your role will be pivotal in meeting service level agreement conditions, pinpointing critical incident root causes, implementing effective solutions, managing high-complexity tickets, delivering advanced solutions, and contributing to operational enhancements. A significant aspect of your role will be the creation of knowledge articles for recurring tasks/issues and training junior team members on task execution. Collaboration with automation teams to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts will also be part of your responsibilities. Your extensive experience in managing complex security infrastructure within a managed services environment, coupled with a strong background in IT engineering within medium to large ICT organizations, will be fundamental for success in this role. Proficiency in ITIL processes, meticulous planning skills, a client-centric approach, excellent communication abilities across diverse cultures, effective listening skills, adaptability, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to put in extra hours when required are essential traits. In addition to these technical requirements, you are expected to hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing or possess equivalent work experience. Your role will also involve coaching and mentoring junior team members, particularly in advanced technical troubleshooting and best practices, as well as managing and executing projects within your technology domain to ensure timely and efficient delivery aligned with client needs.
