Role & responsibilities Responsibilities Lead the review of technical architecture design and roadmap of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP, and Fiori) with a strong focus on Clean Core principles. Drive cloud adoption and ensure systems are upgrade-safe by minimizing in-core customizations. Guide and govern side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), CAP, RAP, and low-code/no-code tools. Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, and enterprise architects to design future-proof SAP solutions. Establish and enforce development guidelines that ensure code is compliant with SAP Clean Core strategies. Evaluate current custom developments and recommend refactoring or decommissioning approaches. Partner with SAP and third-party vendors to stay up to date on latest technologies, tools, and best practices. Implement and integrate modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for SAP and other enterprise applications development. Participate in planning and execution of system upgrades, cloud migrations, and decommissioning. Qualifications 8+ years of SAP technical experience, including at least 3 years in a Technical Architect role. Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), and Core Data Services (CDS). Proven experience implementing and governing SAP Clean Core strategy and extensibility models. Strong understanding of SAP Fiori, OData services, and UI5 architecture. Familiarity with modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and test automation in SAP context. Experience working with public cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across business and IT teams. Preferred candidate profile
