Job Description

Job Title:

  • Audit Travel and Expense Reports

    :
    • Review and audit employee travel and expense reports for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and IRS travel/fringe benefit guidelines.
    • Ensure that all receipts and supporting documentation are provided and verify their authenticity.

  • Process Claims

    :
    • Ensure timely processing of travel and expense claims, ensuring all necessary information is captured, accurate, and compliant.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in expense claims by working with employees and stakeholders.

  • Policy Compliance

    :
    • Ensure compliance with company travel and expense policies and procedures.
    • Provide guidance to employees regarding company policies and help resolve any questions or concerns related to claims or procedures.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis

    :
    • Generate detailed reports on travel and expense trends, identifying areas for potential cost savings or operational improvements.
    • Analyze data to recognize patterns in expense claims, reporting findings to management for decision-making.

  • Issue Resolution

    :
    • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to travel and expense claims promptly and efficiently.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clarify complex claims or policy exceptions.

  • Training and Support

    :
    • Provide training and assistance to employees regarding travel and expense policies, ensuring proper understanding and adherence.
    • Offer continuous support for employees submitting claims, ensuring a smooth process.

  • Continuous Improvement

    :
    • Suggest and help implement process improvements to streamline the auditing and claims processing workflow.
    • Stay updated on best practices and industry standards to ensure the company remains compliant and efficient.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Experience

    :
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in

      travel and expense auditing

      , claim processing, or a related role.

  • Educational Background

    :
    • Bachelors degree in

      Accounting, Finance, Business Administration

      , or a related field.

  • Technical Skills

    :
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with expense reimbursement tools and systems.
    • Understanding of the travel industry operations and compliance regulations.

  • Communication Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in

    • Ability to interact with a wide range of employees and stakeholders, offering clear guidance on travel and expense procedures.

  • Analytical Skills
