Civil Engineer

Job Purpose:

To manage the inflow and outflow of construction materials at the site, ensure quality checks, and approve materials as per project requirements. The role also involves maintaining inventory, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring adherence to construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Material Management:

Monitor and manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials.

Maintain proper records of material inflow and outflow using logs or inventory software.

Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors for timely delivery of materials.

2.⁠ ⁠Quality Control & Approval:

Inspect and test incoming materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.) to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Reject or escalate substandard materials to the concerned authority.

Approve materials only after proper quality checks and documentation.

3.⁠ ⁠Site Coordination:

Coordinate with site supervisors and contractors for daily material requirements.

Ensure proper stacking and preservation of materials at the site.

Minimize wastage and ensure efficient utilization of materials.

4.⁠ ⁠Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain material reconciliation reports and daily inventory records.

Prepare quality inspection reports and keep records of approvals.

Report material shortages, excesses, or deviations to the project team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 1–5 years in construction site material handling and quality control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
