Job Summary: The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil work activities across Joys Palace – Thrissur and Joys Resorts – Munnar. This includes maintenance, renovation, structural work, and coordination with contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of civil projects. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all ongoing civil works across both properties. Plan, schedule, and coordinate repair, maintenance, and renovation work. Conduct regular inspections to identify structural and maintenance needs. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and legal standards at all times. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and consultants for project execution. Maintain accurate documentation for all civil work including drawings, permits, and work reports. Estimate project costs and manage budgets effectively. Coordinate with in-house departments for seamless execution of civil-related tasks. Monitor material procurement and stock for ongoing projects. Address emergency repair needs with quick and practical solutions. Requirements: Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil work, preferably in the hospitality or real estate sector. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards. Good project management, negotiation, and documentation skills. Willingness to travel and work between Thrissur and Munnar locations as required.
