Roles and Responsibilities: System Administration: Install, configure and manage Windows OS including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows applications Security Hardening: Apply CIS benchmarks to harden Windows systems including patch management, antivirus updates, and compliance checks User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across Windows systems Monitoring and Maintenance: Set up and monitor system alerts and proactively manage and resolve any system or network issues Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures Patch Management: Regularly update and maintain patches and service packs across all Windows systems Documentation: Document processes, policies, configurations, and incident reports Compliance: Ensure all Windows systems comply with CIS benchmarks and other organizational security standards Collaboration: Work closely with security, network, and application teams to ensure secure integration and operations Skills Required: Technical Proficiency: In-depth experience with Windows OS, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell scripting Security Standards: Familiarity with CIS benchmarks for Windows OS and security hardening practices Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues
