To Assist and work along with HOS/HOD in Planning, initiation and conduct studies Preparation of New SOPs, Protocols and Reports. Participate in GLP / AAALAC related activities and addressing the issues. To keep tab on resources, planning and milestones effectively Literature search / Provide guidance to staff. Ensuring all day-to-day activities by delegating relevant personal/s Define key resource needs against priorities and manage. To train junior staff and to bring them up to the expected proficiency levels for quality work as per GLP norms. Ensuring that all the instruments / equipments are maintained properly with timely maintenance and calibration / performance checks. Maintenance of animal house and relevant documents as per GLP and AAALAC norms. Planning for the effective usage of the available resource. Participate in GLP inspections and ensure relevant regulatory compliance guidelines. Ensure the preparation of calibration planner and its monitoring. Ensuring adaptation of proper safety precautions in the laboratory. Ensure in archiving of all study related materials. To provide technical review of all the procedures and SOPs in the Test Facility. To provide technical support to the staff in the conduct of GLP studies. Upgradation of the Animal Facility/Instruments as per the requirement.
