Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for our company based in Trivandrum / Kochi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the technological vision to drive business growth. With over 18 years of experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within IT services or product engineering services, you will be leading the way in defining our technology strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring scalable practices that align with our business objectives. This strategic position will involve both internal capability building and client-facing technology leadership. Your responsibilities will encompass various key areas. Firstly, you will be tasked with defining and executing the overall technology vision in line with our growth objectives. This will involve evaluating emerging technologies, implementing modern engineering practices, and spearheading digital transformation and cloud initiatives. Additionally, you will focus on nurturing engineering excellence within the organization by mentoring technical teams, establishing best practices, and enhancing technical governance frameworks. In your capacity as CTO, you will also be actively engaged in client interactions, representing us as a technology thought leader in discussions and collaborating with different teams on pre-sales activities and solutioning. Talent development and capability building will be another critical aspect of your role, where you will identify skill gaps, drive training initiatives, and mentor technical talent to ensure continuous growth and development. Furthermore, you will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships with technology vendors, participating in tech forums, and exploring co-innovation opportunities with partners and clients. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of leading distributed software engineering teams. Expertise in modern software architectures, cloud-native development, and AI/ML will be essential, along with the ability to align technology decisions with organizational strategy.
