As the Head of Department in the Engineering department at the Ointment Facility, your responsibilities will include reviewing the plant equipment logbook, preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with relevant SOPs, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. It will be your duty to oversee the maintenance of plant equipment to prevent production loss due to machine breakdowns. You will need to ensure the preventive maintenance of plant and utility equipment, conduct breakdown maintenance when necessary, and review equipment logbooks regularly. Moreover, you will be responsible for preparing SOPs, ensuring compliance and implementation of corrective actions, and providing training to subordinates in the department.
