Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting and Accounting:

• Preparing and examining financial records and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
• Developing and maintaining financial systems and budgets.
• Reconciling accounts and managing ledger entries.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Monitoring the production of financial statements and reviewing them regularly.
• Using accounting information systems to produce reports and analyze data.

• Auditing:

• Conducting financial audits to assess the financial position and practices of organizations.
• Performing tests to check financial information and systems.
• Evaluating accounting systems and suggesting improvements.

• Taxation:

• Preparing tax returns and ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
• Providing accurate reports on a company's finances to government agencies.
• Resolving any tax-related issues for the business or client.
• Conducting tax planning and oversight for special projects.

• Financial Advisory:

• Providing financial advice and support to clients or management.
• Liaising with clients and providing financial information and advice.
• Advising on tax planning and other financial matters.
• Counseling clients on areas of financial improvement.
• Analyzing financial reports to recommend strategies for profitability and growth.

• Risk Management:

• Analyzing risk and implementing risk management strategies.
• Developing and maintaining internal controls.
• Detecting and preventing fraud.

• Other Responsibilities:

• Managing budgets.
• Assisting with mergers and acquisitions.
• Reviewing company systems and advising on business transactions.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
