As a Network Architect Engineer (Senior) in the Office Connect team, you will be responsible for validating, lab testing, certifying, and working with Network, Infosec, Legal, and vendors group to provide Wi-Fi technology solutions and improvements to guarantee the Office Connect Network portfolio meets business strategy and needs. These solutions will be supported by various WAN, LAN, WLAN, DC, or overall NW infrastructure. Your role involves designing and validating Wi-Fi technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing the deployment of network technologies, providing consultancy services, and acting as a Level 4 escalation point for operational issues within the network portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Be the office connect POC and trusted advisor for support vendors, infosec, legal, and security teams - Drive architectural design for LAN and Wi-Fi technologies to ensure scalability, performance, and security - Provide L4 escalation support for data network services across the global Ernst & Young environment - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and standards for network configurations and practices - Stay ahead of technological advancements in networking to recommend and integrate cutting-edge solutions Analytical Responsibilities: - Review and recommend network-related hardware and software technologies, designs, and services - Evaluate and recommend different types of network-related hardware and software - Utilize advanced analytics to monitor and assess network health, performance metrics, and usage patterns - Leverage data from network monitoring tools to make informed decisions on network upgrades and optimization strategies To qualify for the role, you must have: - 12+ years of experience in Network Design or Architect teams - A bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related discipline - Advanced skills in planning, designing, and troubleshooting complex network environments - Strong interpersonal and team working skills - Data-guided, analytical approach with the ability to formulate insights into action - Excellent understanding of Office Connect product portfolio Ideally, you'll also have: - Industry accreditation like CCNA R&S, CCNP R&S, CCNA Wireless, CCNP, Meraki Wireless certifications - Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people within and outside of IT - English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people, and society and build trust in the capital markets. Job Description: Network Wireless L3 The position of a Network Wireless L3 is responsible for the ongoing wireless network operations management to provide 24x7 support. The ideal candidate will have deep experience of networking technologies, such as wireless networking routing, switching and security; managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, failure rates, and will also have a strong background in network performance management, service delivery and strategic operations planning with a strong technical orientation & creative in problem solving. Key responsibilities include: This is a hands-on technical role: Provide tier-3 (expert level) operational support for Cisco Wireless, Arista Wireless, Wireless LAN Controllers, Cloud Controllers to resolve critical business issues that require deep wireless network troubleshooting techniques and performance analysis Independently own the Wireless Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate. - Ensure SLAs are met - Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning for the Wireless Network platforms. - Perform monitoring and maintenance of overall environment working with experienced team members. - Perform change controls. Update process documentation and team portals - Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis. - Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues & participate in 24x7 on-call. - Automate operational tasks to make processes simpler and more robust. - Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently. Refresh heat-maps and operations plans for campus networks, and all WLAN, LAN connectivity Monitor and analyze statistical data to develop improvement plans for Wireless network and application performance Provide an effective Wireless network capacity plan Develop and monitor global weekly and monthly trending reports by business sectors to justify future growth Additional Responsibilities Include: Oversees the management of service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers Oversees and directs all aspects of the 24/7/365 mission critical network/telecommunication infrastructure operations; including planning, supporting, and maintaining functions Serves as the senior-level escalation point for network operations to resolve critical incidents Maintains policy and procedures manual, conducts monthly service review meetings with key stakeholders, and drive vendor governance Provides leadership, management, direction, and technical oversight for the network operations department Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor s degree, or related qualification Certifications is a must (CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, CCIE Wireless) Wireless Network / Telecommunications role, with expert level experience with Wi-Fi technologies Experience of working in a multi-cultural, virtual team, across multiple geographical regions Hand on Experience of working on Cisco, Arista and Aruba Wireless Technologies Hand on Experience of working on managing Cisco Prime, Wireless LAN Controllers, Cloud based LAN Controllers Experience of conducting Wireless Site Surveys Experience of working on Wireless Standards 802.11 (a,b,dg,n,x), WIFI6 Experience with technologies such as: Cisco/Arista / Aruba Fabric Path. Extensive support of Routing Protocols/Technologies such BGP, OSPF, Logical Overlay, IOS-XR, MPLS VPN
