Category Manager - Ethnic Wear - Actively pursue category management through vendor management, pricing, inventory management and sale optimization for the category - Drive revenue growth by managing the category topline in accordance with the sales plan - Ensure category bottom line health by controlling costs within budgetary constraints - Spearhead yearly budgeting processes for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with long-term financial goals - Execute and adapt the quarterly and monthly budget to optimize financial performance. - Provide timely information on consumer insights and sale rates to sourcing team, to enable them buy better. - Delivering Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual - Revenue, Margin, Markdown targets. - Contributes in creation of sales plans and completely owns up the execution of the same to maximize sell-thrus of the inventory made available to sell. - Maintain ownership of inventory levels, managing OTB release and closely coordinating with buying managers for timely execution. - Tailor store-level assortment plans to reflect sales behavior, ensuring strategic norm fills.
