Position: QA Engineer We are looking for a skilled software tester with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and knowledge in automated testing, with proficiency on Python and Selenium for automation as well as experience in API testing and test case writing. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products before they are released to customers. . Responsibilities & Duties Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products Perform manual testing to identify bugs, log defects and find RCA's. Conduct API testing to verify functionality, performance, and reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify testing requirements and priorities Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python. Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in web application QA testing. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices Strong knowledge on Automation testing. Preferably Python with selenium. Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman. Hands on knowledge on SQL, DB testing and Performance testing (Jmeter) is a plus. About the Role: An Application Support Engineer would be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of the company's software applications. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to support both internal teams and external clients. The position will involve working at the Client’s location as well and may involve working in shifts to support core and critical banking systems. Roles and responsibilities: Technical Support : Provide timely assistance to end-users, addressing and resolving issues related to in-house developed Fintech Products. This includes troubleshooting, checking logs, debugging, and offering solutions to ensure minimal downtime. System Monitoring : Regularly monitor application performance to identify potential issues proactively. Implement necessary adjustments or optimizations to maintain system efficiency. Collaboration : Work closely with the engineering and operations team to understand application functionality and assist in the deployment of new features or updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records of issues, resolutions, and system configurations. Develop and update user guides, FAQs, and other support materials to assist users and internal teams. Incident Management : Respond promptly to critical incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues swiftly and minimize service disruptions in addition to providing RCA’s. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 1 year experience in an application support or related role, demonstrating a track record of managing and resolving application-related issues. Solid understanding of software applications, databases, operating systems and tools like metabase, postman, log understanding, VPN, FTP, incident management systems etc. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, or SQL is advantageous. Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and team members effectively. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
