CAD/CAM Engineer

As a Compressor Component Designer, you will be responsible for designing various compressor components such as cylinders, crankcases, pistons, and valve assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Your primary task will involve generating CNC programs using CAMWorks/EdgeCAM to facilitate high-precision machining of compressor parts. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing engineering drawings, manufacturing BOMs, and assembly layouts. You will be required to conduct design validation using FEA tools like ANSYS to ensure structural integrity and optimal performance of the components. Collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams will be essential to ensure timely and accurate product delivery. Furthermore, you will support initiatives related to reverse engineering, prototyping, and design improvement. It will be your responsibility to ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards such as ISO, ASME, and customer-specific requirements.
