CA Inter-R2R Process

EY is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated CA Inter candidate to join our clients finance team, focusing on the Record to Report (R2R) function. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies. Job Title: CA Inter Record to Report (R2R) Contract Hiring Contract Duration: 12 months Role & responsibilities Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in compliance with internal controls and procedures. Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Support fixed asset accounting, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency revaluations. Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports. Maintain compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IND AS, IFRS) and applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal teams (AP, AR, FP&A) and external auditors during audit cycles. Support continuous process improvements and automation initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. Preferred candidate profile CA Inter qualified (preferably completed articleship from a mid or top-tier firm). 4+ years of experience in R2R, general accounting. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
