Business Functional Analyst

You will be joining the Deal Lifecycle team as a Business Functional Analyst in Pune, India. The team is responsible for implementing global trade capture and trade processing solutions, providing trade-related data to downstream systems. The focus is on ensuring production stability and driving continuous improvement in the production environment with an emphasis on DevOps to support agile operations. Your role will involve analyzing and developing technical solutions to meet business and information technology requirements. As a Business Functional Analyst, you will need to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Collaboration with developers is crucial to ensure that the solutions align with the specified needs. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing requirements with stakeholders, defining test strategies for projects in the Trade Lifecycle domain, reviewing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities with upstream and downstream systems, supporting user acceptance testing and application rollouts, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry and 5 years in an analyst role, preferably in an investment bank focusing on derivatives products. Familiarity with test-driven development, agile methodologies, Oracle or other relational databases, and knowledge of derivatives trade lifecycle processes will be advantageous.
