Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is a critical role responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding business within existing accounts. This individual will be a key player in developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of mandates. This role requires a strong industry network, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Responsibilities:New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across target industries, building a robust sales pipeline. This includes market research, lead generation, and developing compelling proposals.Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.Sales Strategy Execution: Implement the company's sales strategy, contributing to market analysis, competitive tracking, and the development of effective sales and marketing initiatives.Candidate Management (if applicable): Source, screen, and present qualified candidates to clients, providing consultative advice throughout the hiring process. Manage client and candidate expectations to ensure successful placements.Service Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of client mandates, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies. Provide valuable insights to the marketing team.Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates on sales progress and forecasts.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related role.Established network of contacts within relevant industries.Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Results-oriented and driven to achieve targets.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
