Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to support the expansion of CSR-funded projects in the NGO sector. The role involves identifying and engaging with corporate donors, preparing project proposals, and fostering long-term CSR partnerships to drive funding for development and social impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential corporate CSR partners and funding opportunities aligned with the NGOs thematic focus (e.g., education, skilling, health, women empowerment, livelihood).
  • Develop, customize, and present compelling project proposals and concept notes for CSR funding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CSR teams, foundations, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Participate in CSR forums, conferences, and networking events to represent the organization.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather program data, impact metrics, and ensure timely delivery of donor requirements.
  • Monitor corporate CSR trends, government CSR guidelines (e.g., Companies Act), and funding patterns.
  • Maintain a database of leads, proposals, and follow-ups to ensure timely communication and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing MoUs, grant agreements, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure reporting and communication to donors, including project updates, reports, and impact stories.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Social Work, Business, Development Studies); MBA or PG in Development Management is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in CSR fundraising, donor management, or business development in the development/non-profit sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
  • Ability to create pitch decks, donor reports, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for donor meetings and project visits.
