You will play a crucial role as a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer, where your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and customize solutions within the Dynamics 365 F&O platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating customizations and extensions using X++, along with adapting standard forms, reports, workflows, and business logic to meet specific business requirements. Your hands-on experience with X++, integrations, extensions, and the ALM process in D365 will be key assets in this role. Your responsibilities will include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, creating technical documentation, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders such as functional consultants, testers, and business users for requirement gathering and UAT. You will also be required to develop and maintain integrations with external systems using OData, REST, and custom services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of practical experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O, along with proficiency in X++, SQL, and MorphX. A strong understanding of the D365 extensibility model, event handlers, and chain of command is essential, as well as experience with Data Entities, Batch Jobs, Number Sequences, Workflows, and Security Roles. Familiarity with LCS, Azure DevOps, and Build/Release Pipelines will be beneficial in carrying out code versioning, builds, and deployments efficiently. Your expertise in integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems using various methods such as OData, REST, and file-based, coupled with your working knowledge of Finance, SCM, or other D365 functional modules, will be valuable assets in this role. Your strong analytical and debugging skills will enable you to identify and resolve system issues effectively, ensuring the smooth operation of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
