The software tester - manual testing position is available during UK shift timings with 5 working days a week. The working mode is hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely from Gurgaon location. Your graduation in any stream coupled with 2 to 4 years of professional experience makes you a good fit for this role. You should have experience in website testing/web-application testing as well as testing Web Services/APIs using tools like Postman/Jmeter. Familiarity with Agile Development Models such as SCRUM/KANBAN is also required. As a software tester, you will be responsible for performing functional testing, system testing, end-to-end product testing, and regression testing. Mentoring junior resources on the team, designing and executing test cases/scenarios, documenting and analyzing test results, and maintaining records are also key responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project life cycle to achieve common goals and objectives. Regular updates in Microsoft TFS of all tasks and activities performed with respect to builds are expected, along with staying updated on industry quality standards and protocols and making recommendations to enhance results. Documentation of all activities related to testing, deployment processes, and delivery, as well as assisting leadership in reviewing processes and procedures, identifying gaps, and suggesting solutions, are part of the role. You will need to identify and communicate defects and ambiguities at all levels from requirements through implementation. Understanding manual test cases and logical functional flows of the product and then automating the flows and scenarios is also crucial. Supporting build deployments and having key competencies such as experience in web application testing (functional, GUI, system testing) and eagerness to share knowledge and help out in times of crisis are essential. This is a full-time position with day shift schedule. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 4 years of experience in manual testing. The work location is in person.,
