Position: QA Lead Experience: 5+ years Location: Bangalore Shift: Night Shift Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Gaming / IT Services Function: Quality Assurance / Game Testing Role & responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of QA testers, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and tracking progress. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted QA partner and point of contact. Handle people management tasks, including onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with Product and Delivery Teams by reviewing game requirements and offering QA-focused feedback. Continuously monitor and optimize testing strategies by analyzing team productivity and refining test plans. Coordinate with QA Managers to estimate testing effort and ensure test cycles are completed on schedule. Coach and mentor team members to help them grow professionally and enhance testing standards. Prepare regular QA reports and documentation as per internal and client requirements. Preferred candidate profile 5+ years of experience in QA , including at least 1 - 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role . Strong understanding of game testing , test life cycle, and defect tracking. Proven expertise in test planning , test case management, and process optimization. Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA , Bugzilla , or similar platforms. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication, coordination, and client management skills. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for productivity and quality metrics . Ability to mentor junior QA professionals and foster a high-performance team culture.
