Role & responsibilities We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented UI Designer & Frontend Developer to transform wireframes into responsive, high-performance web interfaces. You will own the entire journey from design handoff to pixel-perfect execution, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience across devices. Key Responsibilities: UI Design & Wireframing: - Collaborate with UX designers and stakeholders to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive web pages. - Use design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) to create clear and intuitive wireframes and UI assets. - Advocate for user-centric designs, accessibility, and best UX practices. Frontend Development: - Convert wireframes into responsive, accessible, and performant HTML/CSS/JavaScript code. - Implement mobile-first and cross-browser compatible solutions. - Develop reusable UI components and maintain style guides. Performance Optimization: - Analyze and improve page speed using best practices (lazy loading, image optimization, minimizing render-blocking resources). - Optimize CSS and JavaScript delivery for faster load times. - Use browser dev tools and Lighthouse audits to monitor and maintain performance. Version Control & Collaboration: - Manage source code with Git, follow GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews). - Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content. - Document code and design decisions clearly for team transparency. Quality Assurance: - Conduct UI testing and debug across devices and browsers. - Fix UI bugs and implement improvements based on feedback. - Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG) standards. Preferred candidate profile - Strong experience with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Adobe XD). - Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript fundamentals. - Experience creating responsive, mobile-first layouts. - Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (page speed, Lighthouse, lazy loading). - Solid understanding of Git and GitHub version control workflows. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
