Job Title: Project Manager Waterproofing Location: [Insert Location] Department: Operations / Projects Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager / Managing Director Industry: Waterproofing (Construction Sector) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee waterproofing projects from initiation to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring quality standards and safety regulations are met. This role requires strong technical knowledge in waterproofing systems and construction project management. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents. Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Define scope of work and ensure project milestones are met. Supervise waterproofing application methods (e.g., membrane, PU coating, cementitious, bituminous). Site Management Oversee daily site operations and manage site supervisors and foremen. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients. Conduct site inspections to ensure proper application and workmanship. Ensure materials are delivered and used efficiently on-site. Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultants. Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates. Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Quality & Safety Implement and monitor quality control procedures specific to waterproofing works. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce proper PPE use. Document and resolve any site issues, non-conformances, or delays. Financial & Documentation Monitor project costs and manage billing, variations, and claims. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and handover documentation. Ensure timely project close-out and completion certificates. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in the waterproofing industry . Strong knowledge of various waterproofing systems and materials. Familiarity with technical data sheets (TDS), method statements, and manufacturer guidelines. Skills & Competencies: Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Good negotiation, communication, and client handling skills. Proficient in MS Project / Primavera, MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and project documentation. Working Conditions: Full-time position with frequent travel to project sites.
