Roles and Responsibilities : Deploy and configure Cisco switches and routers across multiple environments. Perform end-to-end configuration and validation of Cisco Nexus switches (5K, 7K, 9K series). Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues during and after deployments. Implement VLANs, VxLan, SVIs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, static routes), and port-channel configurations. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful rollout and minimal downtime. Document all configurations, changes, and deployment activities clearly. Follow standard operating procedures and maintain configuration consistency. Skills Required: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS platforms. Experience configuring Layer 2/Layer 3 on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches. Solid understanding of VLANs, trunking, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VPC, HSRP/VRRP,VPC. Familiarity with configuration backup and restoration processes. Ability to read and implement from network design documents and low-level diagrams.
