Business: Piramal Realty Department: Project Execution Job Overview: Support the execution and implementation of standards for testing and commissioning of MEP systems as a subject matter expert on issues related to the MEP design development and implementation of the companys sustainability strategy and initiatives for the best & optimum resources and troubleshooting during project execution Responsibilities Key responsibilities: Coordinate with design development team and consultants during the development of schematics. Evaluate the schematic design documents for the feasibility of the MEP services. To review MEP drawings from architects / consultants and provide valuable inputs with regards to services to ensure that there are no gaps / omissions and the optimum services are being considered for execution of the job. Value engineering and provide guidance to concerned with all aspects of services to ensure effective decision making. Monitor work of contractors, to ensure that proper methods and technologies are being adapted while installation / execution of services to ensure durability / smooth functioning of equipment / resources and also there are zero / minimum maintenance required in the longer run. Attend meetings Project review meetings to monitor site progress and resolve issues, if any. Prepare various MIS and circulate to all concerned. Monitor budget for all MEP works and certification of bills, claims, etc by contractors. Maintain knowledge of modern maintenance techniques, machinery, processes and equipment related to services and recommend the best possible / optimum systems to be implemented so as to enhance the effectiveness of MEP services. Coordinate with internal team, consultants, contractors for execution of the MEP works and troubleshooting of hurdles / problems, if any to ensure that the project is not delayed and ensuring that the MEP works are carried out as per standards and in accordance with the Project timelines. Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical with 5 - 8 years experience as MEP professional for a construction company Competencies: Should have knowledge of complete construction process and their methodologies Having experience of working in under construction High rise buildings
