The position involves Project Management at sites, encompassing Quality documentation, Surveillance, and Expediting as a part of EPC contractor's engineer & inspection of various items for Projects. You will be responsible for preparing quality documentation aligning with project specifications, codes, and standards, and obtaining approvals from PMC/Client. Coordinating with Client/PMC/EPC for daily activities concerning Field quality & documentation is a crucial aspect of this role. It is essential to ensure services are performed in accordance with the End user/PMC/EPC Quality Assurance System/ISO 17020 requirements, including the BV Code of Ethics and BV Group policy. To be considered eligible for this position, you should have worked as a Surveyor in Oil & gas projects with EPC/PMC for over 10 years in QA/QC functions. A B Tech degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/production is required along with NDT ASNT level II certification in PT, UT, MT, RT & VT. Possession of CSWIP 3.1/AWS certification is mandatory, while B-Gas/NACE certification would be an added advantage. Your major responsibilities will include managing services to Clients, handling QA/QC functions related to structural, equipment, piping, and painting at project sites. Supporting QA/QC Managers in maintaining all Operational KPIs, mentoring a group of Field Inspectors, monitoring and supervising all QC activities, analyzing customer complaints/feedback, and assisting in additional responsibilities related to the MR/quality management system. Holding review meetings with clients/operation team, conducting contract reviews for Technical requirements, and highlighting execution/inspection bottlenecks are key aspects of the role. You will be responsible for various inspection activities such as Inspection of Pressure Vessels & components, Inspection of Piping, Inspection of Pipes & Tubes, Receipt inspection of bought-out items, Inspection of Castings, Inspection of Steel structure for oil & gas projects, and Subcontract Assessment. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain site documentations, procedures, FQPs, and field reports as per project specifications for onward submission to client/PMC approval. In terms of HSE responsibilities, you must comply with the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations, adhere to company HSE requirements, take care of health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and others, report any shortcomings on HSE immediately, and share opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects. For Performance Evaluation, your KPIs will include the time taken to deliver reports to the client, the quality of reports, inspections done in allocated timeframe, client claims, detention ratio, customer satisfaction, and sharing information, best practices, and knowledge management.,
