Job Description

As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for building supervised (GLM ensemble techniques) and unsupervised (clustering) models using standard industry libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and keras. Your expertise in big data technologies like Spark and Dask, as well as databases including SQL and NoSQL, will be essential in this role. You should have significant experience in Python, with a focus on writing unit tests, creating packages, and developing reusable and maintainable code. Your ability to comprehend and articulate modeling techniques, along with visualizing analytical results using tools like matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, D3, and Tableau, will be crucial. Experience with continuous integration and development tools like Jenkins, as well as Spark ML pipelines, will be advantageous. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our projects. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree with a strong foundation in the mathematics behind machine learning, including linear algebra and multivariate calculus. Experience in specialist areas such as reinforcement learning, NLP, Bayesian techniques, or generative models will be a plus. You should excel at presenting ideas and analytical findings in a compelling manner that influences decision-making. Demonstrated evidence of implementing analytical solutions in an industry context and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging data science to enhance customer-centricity in financial services ethically are highly desirable qualities for this role.,
