The current job opening is for a position based in Pune and requires expertise in Windows and VMware technologies. The key responsibilities include VMware vSphere and Hyper-V administration at scale, provisioning and managing ESXi hosts and VMs, configuring virtual switches, VLANs, and network adapters, managing VM snapshots, cloning, and templates, setting up Hyper-V clusters, configuring failover settings and live migration, as well as experience with SCVMM, vCenter, and VM performance tuning. Additionally, the role involves the creation, deletion, and modification of server VMs in Hyper-V Management Server. Furthermore, the role entails Windows Server administration tasks such as installation, patching, hardening, and performance tuning, as well as managing Windows Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and BCDR planning. The position also involves performance tuning, capacity planning, and lifecycle management of Wintel servers. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5-8 years of experience in Windows Server Administration and demonstrate a passion for reinvention and continuous growth.
