You will be a part of Qualcomm India Private Limited in the Engineering Group, specifically focusing on Software Engineering. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs using .NET or Java, along with proficiently working with different types of databases. Writing optimized, scalable, and high-performance backend code will be crucial, as well as collaborating with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and software reliability. Integration of data from various backend services and databases, creating and maintaining detailed software documentation, and delivering high-quality work within project timelines are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and presentations. For minimum qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field along with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience is required. Alternatively, a Master's degree in the mentioned fields and 1+ year of relevant work experience, or a PhD in the specified fields, will also be considered. You should have at least 2 years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Preferred qualifications include having 2+ years of overall software development experience, proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Docker, as well as experience with SQL or other database management systems. Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST API development, and protocols like socket or Thrift APIs is a plus. Additionally, having experience with version control systems like Git or Perforce is desirable.
