Azure Integration Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Azure Integration Engineer to lead the migration of our existing IBM Cast Iron-based integrations to Azure Integration Services . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud integration, data orchestration using Azure Data Factory (ADF) , and a solid understanding of legacy integration platforms like IBM Cast Iron . Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end migration of integration workflows from IBM Cast Iron to Azure Integration Services . Design and implement scalable integration solutions using Logic Apps , Service Bus , API Management , and Event Grid . Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data movement and transformation. Analyze existing Cast Iron integrations to map functionality and dependencies for Azure migration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and QA to ensure seamless migration. Ensure integration solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with best practices. Create detailed documentation for migrated solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams. Monitor and troubleshooting integration issues post-migration. Required Skills & Qualifications: 68 years of experience in integration development, with at least 4+ years on Azure Integration Services . Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps , Service Bus , API Management , and ADF . Proven experience in integration migration projects , preferably from IBM Cast Iron or similar platforms. Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect). Familiarity with other Azure services like Azure Functions, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, etc. Prior experience working directly with IBM Cast Iron will be an advantage.
