The Senior Cloud Network Administrator is responsible for managing and operating the organization's Azure and AWS cloud-based network infrastructure. You will be tasked with building and managing Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, virtual networks, DMZs, cloud firewalls, and proxies to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the cloud-based information systems supporting core organizational functions. Your role will involve handling day-to-day incidents, changes, and problem records, utilizing your experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools like ServiceNow or equivalent. Your responsibilities will include: - Building, managing, and maintaining the company's Azure and AWS cloud-based infrastructure. - Establishing and managing Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect for secure and reliable network connectivity. - Designing and implementing virtual networks within Azure and AWS environments. - Building and managing DMZs in Azure and AWS to enhance security. - Implementing and managing cloud native and 3rd party firewalls to safeguard cloud-based resources. - Setting up and managing proxies to control and secure internet access. - Enabling and configuring monitoring for cloud network infrastructure. - Monitoring alerts and promptly addressing issues to minimize disruption to services. - Handling day-to-day incidents, changes, and problem records within SLAs. - Using ITSM processes and tools such as ServiceNow to manage incidents, changes, and problem records. - Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the cloud-based infrastructure. Required technical skills include: - Network Architecture: Understanding of network infrastructure, routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols. - Proficiency in Azure and AWS cloud services: Deep understanding of Azure and AWS network-related services. - Problem-Solving: Strong skills needed to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. - Network Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools like Wireshark, iPerf for network monitoring. - Basic Network Security: Knowledge of network security measures, firewalls, intrusion detection systems. - IT Service Management (ITSM): Experience with ServiceNow for managing incidents, changes, and problem records. - Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or similar can demonstrate technical proficiency. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - 5+ years" experience as a Senior Cloud Network Administrator, troubleshooting network incidents. - Experience with Azure and AWS cloud network services and network architecture. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and technical communication. - Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are advantageous.,
