Azure Databricks Engineer

We are looking for an experienced professional who possesses the required mathematical and statistical expertise along with natural curiosity and a creative mind to uncover hidden opportunities in data, aiming to realize its full potential. You will be responsible for developing modern Data Warehouse solutions using Databricks and AWS/Azure Stack. This includes providing forward-thinking solutions in the data engineering and analytics space, collaborating with DW/BI leads on ETL pipeline development requirements, triaging issues in existing pipelines, working with the business to understand reporting needs, and developing data models to fulfill those needs. You will also assist team members in resolving technical challenges, drive technical discussions with client architects, and orchestrate data pipelines via Airflow. As for qualifications, you should have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in Data & Analytics. Communication and presentation skills are essential. You must have a minimum of 2 years" experience in Databricks implementations and large-scale data warehouse end-to-end implementations. Being a Databricks certified architect is a must. Proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages like Python, Spark, and Pyspark for data manipulation and automation is required. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Databricks. Familiarity with data governance, data management practices, and exposure to tools like Data sharing, Unity catalog, DBT, replication tools, and performance tuning will be advantageous.
