Role & responsibilities Job Title: Sr. Design Engineer/Asst. Manager -Design Job Description: Engineering work of Power Distribution Unit (PDU), LV Switchgear, Motor Control, Switchboard, Switch Racks, Panel Boards, VFD, Control Panel, and similar equipment. Review customer requirements and specifications and do the Engineering work for assigned jobs, which would include but not limited to equipment layout drawings, BOM, three-line diagrams, section views and design calculations as per agreed timelines. Selection of the components based on the requirement. Capable of defining the technical specifications of the product components. Cooperate and coordinate with production and quality team to resolve issues and improve design quality. Ensure timely creation and release of the BOM to meet manufacturing targets. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Low Voltage Design Engineer in Switchgear Manufacturing Company. Good knowledge in CAD software like AutoCAD / SolidWorks. Experience in ERP Software and entering BOM. Required Skills Good knowledge of system relaying and similar engineering work with switchgear/Aerospace LRU equipment. Familiar with International Technical Standards (ANSI/IEC/UL) related to the job category. Knowledge about NEMA/IEC Enclosure types and classifications. Relay configuration and Industrial Communication Protocols. Awareness of QMS, EMS Policies & standards AS 91000, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2025. Awareness of Safety & Procedures.
