This position is part of the Patent Analytics & Monetization unit within the company. As a patent analyst/searcher, you will collaborate closely with the R&D, legal, and IP teams of our clients to facilitate and enhance the development of their IP portfolio. Your role will involve assisting clients in securing patent protection for innovative technologies through various patent analytics & searching techniques. You will engage in client interactions, present search strategies, contribute to project scoping, and leverage your technical expertise to provide value-added insights. To excel in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant IP experience to be considered for this position. Compensation will be determined according to the technical and functional competencies demonstrated during the interview process. **Job Responsibilities:** **Patent Search & IP Analytics:** - Evaluate new client technologies to identify potentially patentable features. - Conduct IP searches using complex search strategies across various search engines and IP databases for prior art identification, FTO clearance, and invalidity searches. - Compile search results to generate detailed patent reports for clients, documenting the search strategy as required. - Demonstrate proficiency in defining search parameters, utilizing patent databases, reviewing prior art, analyzing findings, and preparing comprehensive search reports. **IP Market Intelligence Studies:** - Contribute to patent and technology landscape analyses by examining patents and IP related to specific technologies or markets. - Prepare comprehensive reports on new technologies and competitive patent environments to offer strategic insights to clients. - Skills required include defining project scope, searching patents and non-patent literature, organizing data, analyzing trends, and visualizing data for reports. **Education Qualification & IP Subject Matter Requirement:** **OPEN POSITION, TECHNICAL GROUP 1:** - Bachelor or Master of Engineering (B.Tech./ M.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering. - Strong understanding of Basics of Patent Laws. - Knowledge of technologies in Mechanical domain such as automotive systems, EVs, consumer electronics, etc. **OPEN POSITION, TECHNICAL GROUP 2:** - Bachelor or Master of Engineering (B.Tech/ M.Tech) in Electronics, Communications, VLSI. - Proficiency in Basics of Patent Laws. - Familiarity with Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and technology Standards like 3GPP, IEEE, etc. **Functional Skills & Knowledge Requirement:** - Experience with IP databases like Questel Orit, Patseer, Derwent. - Proficiency in MS Office tools. - Ability to work with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Filters, Conditional Formatting, etc. - Strong attention to detail is essential. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Delivery Manager / Program Manager to lead and oversee the development of automotive product line (Preferably BMS, IVI). The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative embedded products that meet safety, regulatory, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automotive embedded systems projects from concept to production including Systems and SW process areas/ subsystems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timelines, and budgets. Team Leadership: Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and testers to deliver high-quality embedded system for automotive products (e.g., IVI, BMS). Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Ensure clear communication on project status, risks, and opportunities. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards (such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity). Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project deliverables, adjust strategies as needed to address challenges in the project lifecycle. Documentation & Compliance: Oversee project documentation, ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards (e.g., functional safety standards, cybersecurity guidelines). Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA team to ensure that all deliverables meet industry and customer standards, from early development stages to final validation. Generate metrics as needed. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure the project remains financially viable. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 12+ years of experience in embedded product development in automotive industry, with at least 3+ years in a program management role within the automotive industry. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Systems and Software development including design and environmental aspects. Strong understanding of Model based development, MIL, SIL etc. Strong understanding of BMS, IVI/ ADAS systems. Strong Knowledge in technical and commercial Proposal submissions. Strong understanding of automotive embedded systems, including microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Familiarity with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262, and process such as ASPICE. Program Management Skills: Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Azzure, Microsoft Project, Jira, PPT, Excel, Power BI). Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.
