Automation Tester

The IT Quality Intermediate Analyst is responsible for supporting initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. You will collaborate with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach. Additionally, you will conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments, reporting issues and making recommendations for solutions. Your role will require ensuring project standards and procedures are fully documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle, and you will be responsible for recommending enhanced documentation. Monitoring products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures, you will document findings and conduct preliminary root cause analyses to provide recommended improvements. It is essential to verify traceability in project work products and gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics. You should exhibit a good understanding of procedures and concepts within your technical area, with a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. Basic understanding of how your area integrates within IT Quality to achieve objectives is required. Making evaluative judgments based on factual information, you will resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents. Your role will directly impact the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by yourself and others, affecting your own team and closely related work teams. You will provide informal guidance to new team members and perform other duties and functions as assigned. It is important to assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, showing particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications: - 4+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred - Automation Testing, Selenium, Java proficiency - Experience in requirement reviews & ability to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Understanding of Quality Processes - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities - Proven ability to work to deadlines - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - QA Experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that if you are a person with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to use search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.,
