Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Department: Service & Support Reporting To: Head of Market Support Job Description: Bystronic Laser India Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Service Engineer / Sr. Service Engineer to join our Pune team. You will play a key role in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Laser Cutting, Automation, and Press Brake machines at customer sites. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission laser cutting, automation & press brake machines. Assemble electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as per machine requirements. Diagnose and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on-site. Provide technical support and routine maintenance for sheet metal machinery. Educate customers on operation, maintenance, and safety. Collaborate with teams for efficient customer support. Ready to travel regionally and nationally at short notice. Basic IT understanding to work with machine protocols. Required Skills & Behaviors: Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills. Good communication and customer-oriented mindset. Self-driven, responsible, and proactive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. 5 to 8 years experience in service & support of machinery. Experience with sheet metal machinery like lasers, press brakes & automation preferred. Fluent in spoken and written English. Willingness to travel as required. Why Join Us?
