Job Summary

The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and tools to streamline IT operations, software deployment, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify manual processes and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Monitor and maintain automated systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Document automation workflows and provide training to relevant teams.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or DevOps.
• Certifications in relevant tools or platforms are a plus.
