Astria - Data Scientist - Large Language Models

As a Data Scientist specializing in Conversational AI and Generative AI, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our AI initiatives. Your main focus will involve developing and optimizing intelligent conversational systems by leveraging advanced techniques, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) from OpenAI. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Conversational AI solutions that utilize Generative AI and OpenAI models. You will fine-tune LLMs to improve their performance in conversational settings, analyze large datasets to extract insights for enhancing models, collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI solutions into products and services, conduct experiments to assess the efficacy of AI implementations, and keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and technology. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field. A strong grasp of Conversational AI and Generative AI, along with hands-on experience with OpenAI technologies, is essential. Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and prompt engineering, robust programming skills in Python, and knowledge of AI/ML libraries are also required. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure would be advantageous. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills for effectively presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences, and the capability to work autonomously while efficiently managing multiple projects.
