Asst Manager - Engg & Dev ( Enquiry Management ) - Balewadi

This role will assist Engineering Design Manager in handling customer enquiries for power transmission products and systems and to coordinate with stakeholders for arriving at technicalproposals and product costing. He/ She is expected to understand the customer requirements andintegrate with manufacturing in fulfilling the customer requirements ob Responsibilities: 1. Work flow managementa) Support for helical, planetary, special gearboxes like crane duty, VRMgearboxes, pinion stand units Product engineering & product related new enquiries. b) Work with enquiry team for Product selection & for confirmation of specificapplication in case required. c) Assigning of work load within the team as per available workload.d) Preparation of Design layout as per order and submit General arrangementdrg. For customer approval. e) Design calculation to be carry out in Kiss-soft software and keep updatingnecessary knowledge for applicable standards. f) If required manual calculations will be required to submitted as per applicableStandard. g) Effective communication within the team and sales team for planning theurgencies. h) Follow up with sales in case technical data, information is required.i) Internal follow up with the team members for meeting urgencies.j) Maintaining of complete data and communication of MIS data on daily basisas per decided format. k) Regular meeting for better coordination and addressing issues, in case anyl) Feasibility study of new drawings, requirements & evaluation of product.m) For critical project, conduct CFT meeting for understanding of scope of supplyand details feedback from concern members. n) Follow and adopt Quality management process and if asked has to takeinitiative / lead for the same. o) Standardization approach for the design has to follow.2. Customer Orientationa) Interfacing with customer for clarificationb) Understand customer requirement.c) Obtain customer feedback and make changes accordinglyd) Visit customer site to understand the criticality of the product3.
