Associate, Middle Office II

As an Associate, Middle Office II at BNY, you will be an integral part of the Middle office collateral team based in Pune/Chennai, MH/TN - HYBRID. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality service and support to internal and occasional external clients on a daily basis. This includes monitoring collateral inflows from trade derivatives, facilitating the delivery of collateral to appropriate investors and dealers, handling routine problem resolution, and focusing on smaller, occasionally complex accounts. Your role will involve monitoring daily mark-to-market movements and managing daily margining by booking collateral movement. You will also be responsible for dispute management, performing the 4-eye check for margining and portfolio reconciliation, liaising with counterparts and clients to manage daily margining and dispute issues, performing daily portfolio reconciliation for collateral trade position reconciliation, as well as managing and resolving Collateral breaks. Additionally, you will be involved in client reporting for collateral movements. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have 3-6 years of experience in Derivatives, collateral management, or portfolio reconciliation functions, with collateral margin experience being mandatory. A good understanding of derivatives markets and regulations, as well as collateral functions, is essential. Furthermore, you should possess a professional level of verbal and written communication skills.
