Assistant Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting a preliminary survey of the site to identify its peculiarities for effective work planning. Your role involves understanding the project plot, maintaining the boundary, and managing cutting, leveling, site survey, and road marking in alignment with the building plan. Allocating resources including manpower, materials, finances, and machinery is crucial for ensuring a smooth workflow. You will need to assign tasks according to the project schedule and coordinate work based on a bar chart. Additionally, overseeing the activities of Assistant Site Engineers and managing all site operations from initiation to completion are key aspects of your role. Ensuring the availability of necessary facilities such as machines, equipment, tools, and materials, as well as amenities like a labour shed, office, and material storage yard for workers, is part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with the project engineer, you will arrange essential services like roads, water supply, electricity, and accommodation for workers to facilitate seamless work progress. Maintaining safety standards throughout the project implementation and coordinating daily work activities are essential tasks. You will also be responsible for overseeing concrete work to ensure the correct proportion is maintained. Your support to the project engineer in various activities will contribute to the overall success of the project. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including commuter assistance. The preferred work location is Kottayam, Kerala, and candidates with at least 1 year of experience in civil engineering are preferred.
