Assistant Professor in Computer Science

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, conducting research in their field of expertise, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and administrative growth of the department and institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Develop and revise curriculum in accordance with academic standards.
• Conduct original research and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
• Guide undergraduate/postgraduate students in their academic projects and theses.
• Participate in departmental activities, meetings, and committees.
• Pursue funded research projects and interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Engage in community outreach, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in [Relevant Discipline] or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Demonstrated potential or record of scholarly research and publication.
• Proven ability to teach effectively at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in curriculum development and academic advising.
• Prior teaching experience in a recognized institution.
• Evidence of securing research grants or participating in funded projects.
