Job title: Assistant Operations Manager

(Hindi / English Speaking)

Working Location: Kolkata, India

Our International company is seeking 1 Assistant Operations Manager in India. Ideal candidates can adapt and are well-known for fast-moving and last-moment change.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of operations staff.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team meets performance targets and KPIs.
  • Implement and oversee changes to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure that services meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to the team.
  • Oversee training programs for new and existing staff to ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Optimize resource utilization to meet operational goals.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
  • Implement best practices and stay informed about industry trends to remain competitive.

Job Requirement:

  • At least 2 years of working experience as a Senior Team Leader or equivalent role in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) setup.
  • Fluent in English. At least C1 level.
  • Managed at least 50-100 staff across multiple lines of business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Proven track record of meeting and delivering targets and commitments.
  • Content moderation environment work experience is a plus but not required.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and online collaboration tools is a plus.
  • Capable of building productive business relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational, managerial, critical thinking, creative thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Willing to work on public holidays and shifting schedules, including night shifts when needed.
