Assistant Manager_Senior Enginer_Abinitio Support_Pune

As a DevOps engineer at VOIS India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily ETL batch processes based on Abinitio/Teradata (L2 support) and providing deployment support for new and enhanced applications. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot any issues in daily DWH production ETL jobs, collaborate with project managers, development, testing, and other teams, and update remedy tickets based on incident/service request status. Additionally, you will be required to provide on-call support for daily batch jobs during night & weekends. Your role will involve automation and innovation of existing processes, performance improvement of jobs, and a strong understanding of SQL, Unix scripting, and knowledge of the telecom domain and Google cloud. You will also work on Google cloud POC, manage IAM, virtual machines, Kubernetes, and ensure the operational efficiency of business-critical applications. Essential qualifications for this position include a minimum of 3 years of experience in Abinitio support, knowledge of Teradata vantage, hands-on experience with Unix/SQL, and proficiency in handling cloud platforms on GCP.
