Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers through regular communication, performance reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers to address queries, negotiate terms, and manage expectations.

  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

    • Monitor supplier performance metrics such as delivery timelines, quality standards, compliance, and responsiveness.
    • Identify areas for improvement and work closely with suppliers to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supply Chain Coordination:

    • Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and production to align supplier capabilities with organizational needs.
    • Ensure timely order placements, track deliveries, and manage any supply disruptions proactively to minimize impact on operations.

  • Quality Assurance Support:

    • Partner with quality teams to ensure suppliers meet the required quality standards and regulatory compliances.
    • Facilitate supplier audits and follow up on corrective action plans.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks in the supply chain related to supplier performance, capacity, or market conditions and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Support contingency planning to ensure supply continuity.

  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, contracts, performance data, and improvement initiatives.
    • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into supplier performance and collaboration effectiveness.
