We have the vacancy for Assistant Manager for Electrical Job Summary for Assistant Manager - Electrical Maintenance Department We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager - Electrical Maintenance Department to oversee and ensure the smooth functioning of all electrical equipment, electronics, and safety within our facility. The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical maintenance for crankshaft machines, Siemens PLCs, CNC & SPM machines and knowledge in utility operations, including ETP & STP. This role involves leading a team and implementing process improvements to achieve cost and energy savings. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Handle electrical and electronics maintenance for crankshaft machines, Siemens PLC, CNC, and SPM machines, including turning, hardening, and grinding machines. Equipment Improvement : Lead projects for electrical improvements through modification, cost-saving, and energy-saving initiatives. Spare Management : Manage spare parts inventory, standardization, and control using SAP. Utility & Safety Operations : Oversee utility maintenance (compressors, chillers, transformers) and ensure electrical safety protocols are followed. KPI Achievement : Achieve maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, machine uptime) and ensure continuous improvement. Root Cause Analysis : Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for each failure and follow PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles. PLC & HMI Programming : Maintain machine backups and handle PLC, HMI programming, especially for Siemens 840D and SPM machines. Team Management : Lead and train a team in electrical maintenance activities, handling shifts with both union and contract employees. Compliance & Audit : Ensure adherence to ISO, IATF, and other regulatory systems. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. 8+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, especially for crankshaft machinery. Proficiency in Siemens PLC, CNC, and electrical systems. Knowledge of SAP for inventory and spare management. Strong skills in electrical safety, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Leadership, team building, and time-management skills.
