Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Electrical Engineer - Machines

Role & responsibilities:

1. Min. 8+ years of vehicle electrical system design along with software integration experience.

2. Responsible for CAN based architecture definition and development from concept design of different electrical and electronics aggregates, selection of components, product improvements, resolve field issues, adding features, and material cost reduction through VA / VE initiatives

1. Sound knowledge on ECUs, instrument cluster, timer relays, solenoids sensors, electronics pumps, motors and steering wheels etc.
2. Design functional excellence to champion the use of design reviews, optimize value and design for manufacturing. Lead FMEAs, analysis of systems, supplier discussions, project planning, preparation of reports, presentation of work. Support engineering on best practice, drawing reviews, production support, and field test support

5. Experience with electrical component development, wiring harness design, schematic development, and a good understanding of the interaction between software / hardware

1. Knowledge of statutory requirement & procedures for approvals
2. Should have good knowledge of electricals & electronics for selection of various controls, protections & measuring equipments
3. Should handle progressively increasing responsibilities as design engineer in construction machinery industry
4. Should lead team of electrical engineer, set priorities, implement industry best practices. Able to set goals and enchance capability of electrical team
5. Should lead team of software engineers, ability to integrate HW and SW components into machine architecture
6. Understand product requirements, develop V&V plans and execute for compliance and sign-offs
7. Should have hands on experience in product improvements in design features and to resolve the issues in production or field issues

13. Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools and schematic softwares like Creo 3.0, AutoCAD 2017 and the E-plan etc

14. Experience creating and maintaining bills of material for vehicle systems in SAP

15. Coordinate with test and development, purchasing, QA and production departments for development at various stages of projects as required till the implementation

Preferred candidate profile:

• Degree in Engineering
• Ideal candidate shall possess min. 8 years of experience in electrical & electronics engineering function
• Good understanding of costing and able to manage build and budget costs with basic knowledge of production processes, ability to relate to construction equipment is highly desirable
• Must be able to convert conceptual ideas into finished products.
• Exposure to working in a multinational, multicultural organization
• Exposure to field/customer requirement & dealing with OEMs is desirable
• Proficient in 3D CAD software like CREO 3.0, ProfiCAD, Saber, Zuken, E-Plan
• Skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Hands on experience in PLM/Team-Centre
• Experience leading / owning project deliverables on time
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
• Maintaining Quality and standards during daily work
• Canddiate to exhibit sense of urgency and achieve deliverables as per given timeline
