Assistant Manager-Construction

Strategic Focus

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

Operational Focus

• 1. Site Execution:

• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor work progress and ensure execution as per structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and labor teams for smooth operations.

• 2. Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Report non-compliance or deviations and initiate corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections and participate in quality audits.

• 3. Resource & Material Management:

• Monitor material usage and coordinate material requirements with the procurement team.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, manpower, and machinery usage.
• Ensure timely availability of resources to avoid delays.

• 4. Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers for issue resolution and updates.
• Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external vendors/contractors.
• Attend progress review meetings and submit daily/weekly site progress reports.

• 5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily logs, labor reports, site measurement records, and work checklists.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, work orders, and RA bills as required.
• Ensure documentation of as-built drawings and site records for future reference.
